The European TRIZ Association (ETRIA) is a non-profit foundation registered in 2000 in Freiburg, Germany. ETRIA aims to develop a web-based collaborative environment to link industrial companies, institutions, educational organizations, and individuals interested in innovation processes and knowledge.

Recognizing TRIZ as the breakthrough in the theory of inventiveness and knowledge management, ETRIA supports its further development, including systematization of those concepts and tools, which are still heuristic and only partially formalized. To achieve this, ETRIA involves and collaborates with TRIZ experts and professionals from the fields of logic, informatics, and linguistics.

The Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology (FEIT) is the biggest faculty of the Warsaw University of Technology, being the biggest technical university in Poland. The faculty encompasses over 300 academic teachers providing 400 courses to more than 3000 students and 200 Ph.D. students. The research and teaching activities are performed by six FEIT institutes:

  • The Institute of Control and Computation Engineering,
  • The Institute of Electronic Systems,
